Prof Dr Chua Chung Nen is a Malaysian who received his ophthalmology training in the well-known centre of Oxford Eye Hospital from 1997 to 2001. Upon completion of his training, he received CCST (Certificate of Completion of Surgical Training) from the General Medical Council, London, United Kingdoms. He is one of the few ophthalmologists in Malaysia who has had this special training in the U.K. He is proficient in a variety of eye related surgery including cataract surgery, glaucoma, strabismus and corneal graft. His special interest is in eyelid surgery and has published several papers on this subjects. In addition, he has published a number of books specially for the trainee eye doctors in Malaysia.
